Raine: (in Keidran) Zen’s condition is stable. But he’s not out of the woods yet. Infection is the biggest danger now. He’ll need to rest, and be closely monitored for at least a few weeks.
Natani: (in Keidran) I see… Thank you for helping him. What about his leg?
Natani: (in Keidran) Is it… will he lose it?
Raine: (in Keidran) I wish I could say. The burn damage was… extensive and won’t be as easily mended as a cut would by magic.
Raine: (in Keidran) Even with a healer, I’m not sure the nerves will be the same.
Natani: (in Keidran) Zen’s strong. He’s survived worse. Still… he looks worse than I thought.
Zen: (in Keidran) Wow, gee… thanks.
Natani: Zen!
Zen: (in Keidran) Gone for months… and the first thing you do when you get back is… insult how I look. I see. You’re just jealous. I was always the pretty one, and now you’re afraid a pegleg will just make me sexier.
Natani: (in Keidran) Are you really cracking jokes at a time like this?! I had to hitch a ride on a giant lizard to save your ass, you know! You could at least be more serious about it!
Zen: (in Keidran) Hahaha! Ow! Heh… Glad to see you too, Nat.
